David Hillis is an Executive Partner of Epsilon Health Investors. David brings extensive experience growing and leading provider organizations to this role, where he plays a valuable role in guiding Epsilon’s investment diligence and decision making.

David most recently served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AdCare, Inc., until its acquisition by American Addiction Centers in March 2018. At AdCare, David managed services and acquisitions of facilities specializing in alcohol and drug addiction care. David also served as Chief Executive Officer of AdCare Hospital of Worcester, Inc., a 114-bed hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts, from 1974 until 2018, and as Chairman of AdCare Criminal Justice Services, Inc., a company providing alcohol and drug treatment services to federal, state and county jails and correctional facilities, from 1989 until 2018

David has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fallon Community Health Plan since 2003, and as a Member of the Board of Directors of American Addiction Centers since 2018. He sat on the audit, academic affairs and finance committees of the Board of Trustees of Endicott College from 2005 until 2014, and is also a former member of the Board of Directors of the Central Massachusetts Chapter of the American Red Cross, the Massachusetts Association of Behavioral Health Systems (where he also Chaired the Substance Abuse Section), and the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (which he also served as Chairman of). David is also a Fellow Emeritus of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives CEO Circle, a Former Member of the Healthcare Management Association, and a Former Advanced Member of the Hospital Financial Management Association.
